Virgin Hotels

Anthony leads Virgin Hotels and is responsible for strategic growth, brand experience, property selection, and overall business performance. Anthony joined Virgin Group in 2006 and directed the brand's North American growth strategy, working on a range of industry sectors from financial services to leisure. He led the Virgin Hotels founding team, and serves as Managing Partner of Virgin Group's leisure and hospitality sector. He has 15 years experience investing in and managing high-growth businesses. Most recently he spent six years investing in early-stage technology businesses at Venrock, the Rockefeller family’s venture capital organization.

Raul is responsible for Virgin Hotels' operating systems and standards, property performance, and service culture. He is a career hotelier with a 25-year history of success in upscale hotel operations, development and design. He is credited with creating the operating infrastructure and thriving culture at Desires Hotels, a collection of modern boutique hotels located in urban and resort destinations. Under his leadership, the company established a reputation as a premier hotel management company, consistently achieving profitability and high levels of associate and guest satisfaction. In 2008, Desires Hotels was recognized as Best Management Company by Lodging Hospitality magazine.

David is charged with leading the Virgin Hotels' global expansion.  As head of Virgin Hotels' development team, David is responsible for accelerating the rate at which we bring to life our exceptional hotels for 60 million Virgin customers around the world.  Prior to joining the Virgin Hotels team, David served as Vice President of Development for Wyndham Hotel Group. There he was responsible for both international and domestic expansion, including the acquisition of the TRYP brand from Sol Melia; acquiring the development rights to the Planet Hollywood Hotels brand; and the strategic alliance with Chatwal Hotels & Resorts, resulting in the exclusive development rights to the Dream and Night boutique brands. David has received an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a master's degree from Yale University.

Allie is responsible for implementing Virgin Hotels’ global growth strategy. Allie’s primary responsibilities include sourcing and acquiring properties in key gateway cities, and structuring transactions that work for Virgin Hotels and our Owner/Developer partners. Prior to joining Virgin, Allie worked on acquisitions, dispositions and asset management at Sunstone Hotel Investors where she was instrumental in the acquisition and disposition of over $1 billion of hotel transactions. Allie was previously a partner at HMR Analytics, a hospitality asset management firm based in California, and a consultant with PKF Consulting, one of the top advisory services firms in the hospitality industry. Other experiences include hotel operations with Interstate Hotels and Resorts, spa development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, and investment banking with WR Hambrecht. Allie is a graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration where she received the Dean’s Baccalaureate Service Award, serves as a board member for the Cornell Hotel Society and was named Southern California Real Estate “Woman of Influence” in 2007.
